What's wrong with the Rangers?

This team was coming into the season with so much hype and being thought of as potential stanley cup champions. They've been stinking up the joint thus far. I know their defense is an issue, but still they shouldn't be this bad.

Actually, their defense hasn't been an issue. They just haven't been able to put the puck in the net.

The Rangers have scored 16 goals in 10 games, they won't be winning anything with those numbers.

Well, they're starting to click now. Surprisingly their defense has been outstanding and it's the offense that's having trouble which is not what we expected. But they'll be up there soon enough
