What is the point of the 1 year wait until you can change the username? Is it to "reward" users that have been active on the boards? Well what about average post per day? Isn't that a better way to monitor a user's activity on RealGM? I'm sorry if I'm out of line with this, I just think 1 whole year to wait is way too long...

Pass the ball,

We do it to limit username changes. We do not want users to keep changing names and we felt the one year rule was a fair measure.

A number of posts are not what makes a good user, it's the quality of the posts.

Oh ok, but what if a user can ask for a name change even if he hasn't been on for a year, but then he would only get 1 username change instead of 2? I dunno, it's just a suggestion. I just don't really like my username and know which one I want to change it to for sure, without question...
