Seems like as close to a win-win situation as you could get in FA. I wouldn't mind signing him, or not.

Never thought much of him, but his numbers are actually pretty good. A waste of money for a reliever, but since we're not competing this year hopefully he can do well and get unloaded at the deadline. I can't see an aging relief pitcher with a huge contract being a priority for a rebuilding team unless he's flipped at some point in the next year or two.

I really think this would be a good get. Immediately improves the 'pen and also strategic in terms of trades and/or draft pick compensation. A slight gratuity could be justified imho.

Looks like OAK is going to sign him.. I am kinda glad I didn't want the 35 year-old soft tossing lefty..

They should be using the money they have left to sign Manny not Fuentes in my opinion.

I would sign Rauch before Fuentes, but it's just me...

He got around $5 MIL per year for two year with an option for year 3.

Time to shift attention to Rauch.

And I was hoping we'd sign another reliever with a first-initial-last-name resemblance to a former Raptor, like we did with C. Villanueva...

That would be funny.
