I wonder if this is why now we are hearing a little more specifics about what the Knicks are looking to do. Maybe Donnie heard the same thing and he is now trying to put a package together to cockblock the Nyets.

Chandler is playing well so many excuse him from their trade proposals.... Gallo has missed a few games and wasn't as productive as Chandler in the first third of the season so armchair Gm's are quick to throw him into their trade proposals.

If the roles were reversed, like lets say this was the end of last year it would be Chandler in everyone's little trade proposals and Gallo as "untouchable". Funny....

Well step back into reality.... Denver will and should ask for the player performing better. And rightfully so because they would be parting with the proven commodity and not some flash in the pan (as of now,and now is what matters).

I can't fathom as to why any one player not named Amar'e on this team is untouchable?

Anthony is only 26yo! Look at his resume going back to college. These handful of players we catfight over will probably never collectively match the guy's resume throughout their entire careers.

Denvers trying to shed salary they are not going to trade for a player they are going to have to pay a good amount of money for and give them alot of yrs. I dont see it happening

Read the above response and you'll see what I'm getting at.

They also could just let Chandler walk instead of paying a youngster like Gallo which would save them more money. Even if it's just a million or two. Chandler is still an expiring RFA.

That's crazy - so they are going to trade Melo for a rental in Chandler? They can get better offers teams who would just want him for the season.
Play time is over.

Isn't Aldridge just passing along what all the NJ papers have been leaking today? He didn't report anything new.

Funny comment too. Keep Melo for as long as possible so that New Jersey keeps losing and those picks are worth more.

I dont buy it. Agents may have a deal ready that they will present to Melo. Melo will nix it. If not he's really dumb.

How much trade value does Devin Harris have?

Couldn't they move Chandler themselves in a separate Deal?

"Yeah, man, I wish he was going," Anthony said. "That would just make the game better for the fans. But health is more important than anything. So I already know, especially with ankles. He's still got three, 3 ½ more months to go in the season. We'll see him again. He'll see us.''

With a schedule not immediately handy, Anthony was asked if that's an indication he'll still be around when the Nuggets play at Miami.

"Yeah,'' Anthony said.

Turns out that game is March 19, well after the Feb. 24 trade deadline.

LISTEN

TO ME

THE REPORTED DEAL WAS NEVER CLOSE. NOT WHEN YOUR OWNER TURNS AROUND AND SAYS: TAKE MORE MONEY OFF OUR HANDS.

Harris' trade value is significantly higher than Gallo's.
