Denver vs Miami

Post#1 » by Powder Blue » Thu Jan 13, 2011 5:22 am

Nugget/Net or Knick Melo will go all out against Lebron...Hopefully this is a good one.

P.S. I've gone 24 hrs without clicking on a Melo trade rumor link. Ya'll should try it, its very refreshing.

Let Lawson run around those fools
Seriously,Nene and Lawson both should dominate at this game,no one on that team can guard them.

It'd be sweet if we beat the Heat and then trade Melo to the Nets.

Unfortunately Melo won't be able to because LeBron is out with a sprained ankle.

I think the Nuggets would still be up big right now, the Heat look like/are playing like feces.

This team always seems to step up and play against the better teams in the league, and they have more depth this year then they have had in the past, it's to bad that Melo doesn't just opt in to the final year of his contract and make one last run with this cast.

This isn't exactly a good team...They only have 2 All-Stars and they went to bed late last night

Hell, I know where you are coming from (pyrite aka fools gold), but we both know that this current cast can beat any team in the league and it matches up well against any team in the leauge when healthy and dedicated, which is where the problems exist.

Since the comments the Heat are 0-2, Mr. James was right, Karma is a bitch.

El Loco the words HEALTHY and DEDICATED can be used when describing a Nuggets game about 5 times a season.....Tonight was one of them.

I am in the same boat that you are in, and basically feel the same way. I just know that potential is there, but it seems to alway find a way to never manifest.

jr is probably the best crowd pleaser in the league.

no matter the score, he's gonna do whatever they say and whatever it takes for them to cheer a little bit more.

.

after that last question from aldridge about the team having championship potential....i was begging for him to ask the followup question straight up....."then why would you want to leave?"
he didn't :(

I was thinking the same thing. I would love to hear an answer to that question.

And it's too bad we won't get any credit for this win because the poor Heat were so tired from their road trip and didn't have LeBron.

I miss the chance to celebrate a win like tonight, it was a great game, and showed how good this team should have been this year.

I must say, after watching the after show, Charles is not the least Knowledgeable basketball guy on their staff. Webber sat there talking about how bad Denver's team is, and how much better the nets recent history have been when compared to the Nuggets. It was like he had missed everything that has happened since 2002. That is like Bill Walton talking about the Knicks recent championship, in the early 70s, proving what a great franchise they are.

We always missed that 3 rd dagger carrier that brings out and just sticks em! J.R had us waited forever, really not a much of matter at this stage of the organization. Billups first year when he was playing with something to prove DJ was somewhat the player that stirs up the tenacity of the team along with Martin. IMO those types of players are needed to be among the bunch to just to stir em up like Rodman /amen/ , Artest, Barkley, Manu etc ....

Anyway good game!
