Bobcats Progress thread *January*

Post#1 » by penquin11 » Thu Jan 13, 2011 8:57 pm

Ok guys this thread is basically where you would post your view as to what we have gotten better at or worse at during the given month, this is to more centralize opinions regarding how the Cats have done and what-not. Feel free to mention things such as:

Biggest success or feat:
Biggest surprise:
Biggest Failure/defeat:
progress/month grade:*
and whatever

Regarding the Progress grade (if you are to use it)I would like to set a scale just so I dont see extremely varied grades...

A : Team has made enormous progress in signing a future allstar/ HOF or in winning the vast majority (90-100%) of games if not ALL of them...
----- remember in between grades do exist such as a B+ or B------------------
B: Team has done a good job and has won the large majority (75%)of the games and in some way moved toward the future in an above average way.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C: The team has progressed at an average pace, not to say a BAD pace and has won most of its games (60%).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D: The team may have taken a minor step back either in losing games (below .500) or loosing some great player...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
F: The team took a major step backwards and/or has lost a majority of its games (Cleveland is the perfect example, as it hasnt won in like 40+ days and lost its only hope in LBJ over the summer)...

I hope for this to possibly become a tradition in this forum as it would help gather opinions!

Seems like kind of a silly thread... obviously we're a "B" by your standard, since we've won 75% of our games with Silas and his arrival signifies a move towards the future.

The team is playing better on both sides of the floor, presumably because they are invigorated and care more than they used to.

I understand that it is sort of silly but at least it will limit the number of threads that you see titled "time to play our hand" or "should we trade" or "was firing X good or bad" and ect... this thread envelopes that, and while it doesnt deal with say who we should draft or ect it will cover or at least show the progress the cats have made from the view of a community....

I like those threads. It's not like we have too many threads.
