The Knicks probably need to construct a financial deal, taking back Harrington too.

Fields should be off limits, and Chandler probably is anyway because of his RFA status.

This. We can keep trying and trying to get the framework of a deal but they will keep rejecting us.

Def get Birdman if we can, he would REALLY help this team out. Even if we dont get a full time center if we can just rotate Ronny, and Birdman and Mozgov leaving Amare strictly at pf that would be perfect.

Anyone want to take bets on how this trade will "fall apart" again? I'm going with Rip Hamilton forgot that Newark is in New Jersey and nixes the trade by saying he wouldn't report.

Yea im still interested to hear what prokorov has to say.

Hey, we traded our future 1st round Picks, Favors, Harris. But when we buyout Billups youll have RIP to play with what do you say!!

Its obvious their main selling point is going to be brooklyn. Its funny this Russian Scrub is so cocky and this blueprint crap that came out in July. But he has to move into NY because he has to use our market to even lure even the littlest of free agents. So Ironic...

Maybe he puts Melos fingers in a vice with a pen in hand and paper. Sign or you lose your fingers. You cant play basketball anywhere without fingers. You want basketball money, you sign now. I'll give you a few minutes to make decision. :lol:

What could Prokorhov possibly say though? He can't use the roster as a chip seeing as only Lopez is there and we see how he's turning out. The big chip is what...Brooklyn, in 2 years?? So basically he's selling him on "nyc" when Madison Square friggen Garden is a few miles away, in Manhattan. Does Melo really believe he can turn the Brooklyn Nets into the New York Knicks, their new arena into the Garden? He can't be that stupid. At least Lebron, for all the crap we gave him, wanted to go somewhere he could win, it wasn't about the cash. This Melo move would be 90% about the cash. If he wants that, fine, we'll keep building and use our cap room to improve further.

What happened to everyone saying the Knicks have all the leverage? Are we really that scared of losing Melo that were willing to take the guy we wanted off our team more then anyone? Including that he has a contract that he dosent even deserve 1/4 of.
