Trade Deadline??

Post#1 » by zapatasblood » Fri Jan 14, 2011 9:29 pm

Heres to hoping that Morey makes a move to better this team like getting Paul and Okafor but if the Rockets fail to make a move to make them better then I say make moves to make them worse. Why? Rockets have no star and are not going to get one with a mid-level pick and if they can't get one by trading then go for one in the draft. Our hopes of the Knicks sucking seems like it is going to fall through and they will make the playoffs unless Felton/Amare get hurt. If they don't do this they always be that team that is always there but never get past the first round and might not even make the playoffs.
So if they fail to get a star via trade and start trading away players for picks and expiring the who would you trade? Me I would keep Lowry, Patterson, Williams and Lee.

Pretty sure I am one of the few that think they should maybe start shedding salary to get worse but remember that is if they fail to make themselves better. My point is the Astros failed to recognize that they did not have a good enough team to make the playoffs for so long now a late in the rebuilding processes when it should have happen two years before this year.

If we are rebuilding I only want to keep players who play well on both sides of the court.

Lowry, Lee, T-Will, Patterson

I'd probably keep Budinger, Ish and Hill around since they have alot of room to develop.

And a couple veterans Brad Miller and Chuck Hayes.

Scola, Brooks, Martin, Shane, Jeffries and if anyone would take Yao they are all out the door.

I also think we have a real chance of hitting a grand slam and landing Dwight Howard in 2012. So freeing up alot of salary would be beneficial as well.
