Spurs are favored to win by 10 points. This one could get ugly!

This could get real ugly ESPN.com/dallas says that Chandler is sick and could possibly be out tonight.

Oh my.
I guess I would rather Chandler be sick than injured.

I expect a really ugly game. I guess Pavolvic will have to step up and score 30 tonight for the Mavs to have a chance

If Pop were running the Mavs he wouldn't even play Kidd tonight. He always sits his guys when he knew he wasn't full strength and was going to lose.

Let them beat a lineup of

Barea
Stevenson
Marion
Anjinca
Mahimi

I agree.

With Memphis tomorrow RC should only play Jason Kidd limited minutes.

Yeah, but it takes an intelligent coach to play mind games on another team. RC is definately not the caliber of Pop. Besides he is into winning as many regular season games as possible.

Me personally, I wouldn't play Kidd or Marion one minute of this game. Let the Spurs have fun over

JJ-Buckets
Stevenson
PaveLow
Ajinca
Minhimi

See how much fun they have with that D-League team.

No DIRK again. This game would have been absolutely meaningless if Chandler sat out too. Since, Chandler will play I think it will be somewhat closer, but Mavs still lose obviously.

when is duncan gonna stop this bullsh*t that he's a 4. he hasnt been even able to be considered one since rasho left.

also the 5 minutes ajinca had to start the game may have been the worst 5 minutes anyones played this year. why cant mahimi get some important minutes, everytime ive seen him he looks worlds better and at least has a clue and isnt shot happy.

we'll be lucky to get 75 this game

This might be the worst lineup I've seen on the floor for the Mavs in a non-blowout this decade. Barea, Terry, Cardinal, Mahinmi, Pavlovic. Can't wait to see Dirk again.

That was fun to see Ginobili flop after that soft hit from the smaller Terry and then watch Ginobili and Pops acting job. Give me a break Spurs.

Wow. Mavs look even worse than I thought without DIRK.

I thought they would at least keep it somewhat close.

I mentioned during the past that I think this team has many flaws and has been constructed poorly. It's nothing but a lottery team without Dirk and the team has had so much regular season success over the years because Dirk has stayed healthy. It hurts not having Caron Butler, but not as much as some are making it out to be, and he should of been moved before the season even started.

I understand that the Mavs miss Dirk, but they're missing Caron Butler a LOT in these games as well. Butler's statline in December: 16.9 PPG on 48% FG and 44% on 3s...in 31 mpg. He was far and away our #2 option, and there was nobody even close to replicating that production. Even with Dirk back, Butler's production will be sorely missed. And for those of you concerned that he wouldn't have continued that pace, I'll just say that we'd be screwed if he didn't, because there's no reliable #2 scorer other than Caron.

Dirk coming back won't cure all the ills we have right now. This team MUST have production similar to Butler's December from someone if they have any shot at playoff success.
