The Clippers put up 35 in the FIRST QUARTER Vs the GSW's.

The only thing more amazing is that the GSW's put up 39!!!

Blake Griffin in danger of ending his double double streak tonight against the Lakers length.

As i type that, he scores on 2 consecutive baskets, one on a nasty dunk off a low post feed. It's scary to think just how good he can become once he develops a jumper like Amare.

He just got it. His run of 20 or more points in a game looks like it's about to come to an end after 14 games though.

Well it took him more than 2 quarters to get it against an elite team like the Lakers, but his streak is still alive.

He struggled in the 1st half, but he responded like a winner in the 2nd. His fierce competitive nature saved his streak and the Clippers tonight, along with some hot shooting from EG and some surprisingly good defense down the stretch.

I thought the refs took him out of the game a little in the 1st half and he became a little despondent - but you are right, he really came back in the 3rd and especially 4th like a champ.

And he has got a jump shot. He shoots that J from the top of the key pretty well.
