Dirk Nowitzki for Danny Granger trade.

Post#1 » by 76ciology » Tue Jan 11, 2011 7:24 am

I receive: Dirk + Andersen
He gives: Granger and Biedrins

Entering the season, I was already expecting the drop in Granger's numbers. Mainly because of the emergence of Hibbert and Collison which should mean that Granger is not the clear cut no.1 option on offense anymore. But since I am placed to pick at the 16th overall in our league, I have no choice but to do a courtesy pick and select Granger. Who was a clear BPA choice at that point.

Now that Butler went down, I can see Dirk stepping it up specially on the offensive end of the floor. I think that Dirk can give you atleast a top 6 fantasy player value. And on the other hand I can't see Granger being better than a top 12 fantasy player. (right now ranked at the 20+th.)

I don't think that Biedrins can compensate the value lost in the Granger and Dirk deal. Biedrins seems to have declined since his injury. He doesn't give you value at the BPG department anymore. And his rebounding is somehow affected with the addition of Lee.

What do you guys think?

Dirk + whoever > Granger and Biedrins

The question is are you offering him Granger and Biedrins?

Agree with all the others.

Dirk is the best player and you should do it.

Granger has been disappointing and with the Pacers running their smallers lineup a lot more the scoring is being shared out more with Rush and recently George taking some of Granger shots.

Dirk is the choice and it's rather easy.

I currently have a pending trade that involves Dirk. I just hope it passes because I need this trade to round out my team. I get Dirk Nowitzki & Andre Miller, I give Carmelo Anthony & Andrea Bargnani.

My trade passed. I officially will start to get credit for Dirk and Andre Millers numbers tomorrow. IT was nice to dump Andrea Bargnani off my team and actually acquire someone who I'll benefit from.

I am prob the only person who would take granger.

Dirk is a nice player, great scoring and %'s... thats about it. he is mediocre in 3's steals and blocks. those are the cats i build my teams around since they are the hardest to come by.
