Harbaugh has named former Stanford defensive coordinator Vic Fangio as the 49ers new defensive coordinator. He also served as an NFL defensive coordinator for 11 seasons with three different teams.

I think this is a great move by the 49ers. He has NFL experience and has proven success. He runs a 3-4 so the transition should be smooth. The Niners are moving in the right direction.

So, 3-4 all the way.

Right now, I'd say 3-4 is probably the best move.
SF's LB's are the strength of the defense.

Great moves by Harbaugh.West Coast and a fierce defense in 2011.
