John McDonough is at the Hogs game tonight. I'm running the game for a local radio station here in the stateline, and he'll be the 1st Intermission guest. I'll let you guys know if he says anything worthwhile.

Well, I had a nice writeup of what McDonough said, but the instant I hit "Quick Reply" the site went down, so I'll type up what I remember.

-Focus will be putting a quality product on the ice, and marketing that product more fiercely than before.
-Most/all home games should be on TV next season, says that games are essentially a 3-hour long commercial for your product, and the more games on TV the better.
-Having a minor league team in Rockford is huge because it not only makes the commute short between teams, but it will over time expand the Hawks fanbase outside of the city.

I had more before, but this site is turning into a piece of crap for some reason, so yeah, best I can do.

That sounds good. Sounds like McDonough is going to point the Hawks in the right direction.

The Blackhawks look flat and tired out there. I am flipping back between this game and Sunday Night Football but the Canucks have put a couple of big hits on our guys early in this game.

2-2-2, 6 points on the road trip. All in all not too bad.
