What Karl is saying is interesting, and smart on his part... he doesn't want to keep the same type of team going and sorta trudge on as is minus the superstar...he want's to totally change the system / look of the team and reinvent the Nuggets into something new in the new 'era' of being Melo-less...

How that affects us i'm not sure

to me that says i want ty lawson to run this team. karl's words do suggest the exact opposite of what theyre getting in the nets deal so it makes you wonder what exactly is going on over there. thing is, if that was the plan, whyd they sign harrington for so long, if u take harrington's money off their salary, they'd be under the cap by a lot after next year. right now it just looks like a mismanaged organization thats changing its mind as it goes along in regards to their plan.

It really is a love hate relationship with Dolan huh? Im starting to gravitate towards love again. Everything those clowns represent, (rose, WWW, CAA etc) he resents.

The biggest issue with Dolan is he does not know what he is doing. But that dont stop him from butting his nose in it. He has given Walsh space. If he learns from this, we are going to be OK for a long time. Because make no mistake, this dude will walk through FIRE for the knicks. And act like it was nothing.

I honestly dont think that Russian is serious about the nets. I think his business interests are in the real estate around and including the arena.

They have already struck out in free agency.

They have belittled every player on the team and sucked what little life they had out of them.

They are rumored to be willing to gamble on this trade.

And the way they are looking for credibility through media and advertising games using other peoples and teams names associating them with theirs.

I just got a gut feeling this is a smash and grab job. Maybe not but I think so. People are not going to jump on the nets band wagon. Especially if they are not as good as the original man. Find a better assessable area in NJ. Heck even moving the team someplace in CT might have been a better idea. The Nets already failed once in BK.

Ok, I will be honest too. I just dont like the idea of them moving into our backyard. But I do truly feel its not as good a idea as it sounds.

Im telling you man, Dolan has a story. He was born into this. But he did everything wrong and **** it up. Its not just the knicks. What he has to realize is he is a money and power guy. He needs to hire smart, gutsy people to run his businesses. Then sit back, pull strings, and collect the profit. He is doing it now with the knicks. I hope he lets Walsh hang around forever.

And all that Isiah stuff to be honest is a bit blown out of proportion. Isiah recently committed the cardinal sin against Dolan. And we have not heard his name sense.
