Yep.
And he can't even afford to get better players for his "blueprint for greatness"

Thats impressive. Quite a bit of money to give the Petros and Farmars of the league.

the nets are a desperate pathetic franchise who would rather gut their whole future to trade for someone who doesn't even want to play for them
masai ujiri is being a spiteful piece of s*** who would rather spite the knicks and trade Melo to another team rather than get this issue resolved and get themselves a better deal (since melo will extend with NYK)
knicks fans are saying lol nets are bad
that about sums it up so far.
the fact the nuggets are planning to trade him soon actually isn't a good sign for Knicks imo. If Melo were being traded to the Knicks it would probably be like right before the trade deadline, if hes being traded soon its more than likely to the Nets.

Of course he is being traded to the Nets. That is a foregone conclusion. Whether or not he signs is a completely different matter.

The 8th seed will likley need 40 wins to get in. That means they will need to go 30-12, the rest of the season![]()

he wants to win a title. If he signs there, next year they'll have Rip (25ppg), Chauncey (21ppg, 13apg), and the unstoppable rebounding phenom Brooke Lopez (32ppg, 27rpg). Adding Melo to that core will result in at least 4 straight titles.
