the virus attacks posters receive fro m accessing this forum have returned ten fold this month. i know i've brought this to your attention before. and you'r reply was less than sincere. it's time yo u stopped listening to that computer security expert of yours and got a second opinion. it's time you spent some real money to start protecting your site. it's way past time you installed a virus security feature on the advertisements you run on your site. if you can't provide or guarantee that security then it's you took a serious look at not running those advertisements. your cavalier attitude about this proble m and your lack of effort to resolve this ongoing problem is going to result in future lawsuits against you. it's time you started taking posters' critisisms seriously and started to add security filters to your advertisements. or stop the advertisements.

My computer is protected . but it's constantly showing me how many attempys were blocked.

another real gm poster was attacked yesterday from this site, and his computer now has the HDd plus virus and he got it from just viewing your site.

in the past, the amount of viruses from this site were just annoying and funny. but your attitude towards correcting them and preventing them has to change! I frequent about 6 national sports forums in one day. and this is the only forum that has ever attacked my computer with a virus. if the other forums provide securit y for their users, they must be doing something right, and you must not be doing everything you can to protect your posters/users.

itt's time you took a more serious attitude to resolving this ongoing problem and started investing your money into beefing up your security filters for your advertisements. in the pas t you've blamed you r google advertisers as teh ones bringing these viruses to your site. it's funny when i go to google and those same advertisers are on their site, my computer is not attacked by viruses.

I realize tha t installing a n improved securit y filter for your advertisements costs money. but it's necessary! I hate to tell you to stop using your current advertisers. but on sites that have lower volume of traffic, they are able to provide better security protection that your site offers.

I've posted on this subject man y ties before. i know I sound like a broke n record.

but frankly, the viruses that your site downloads onto posters and your lack of response to fixing the problem and all the excuses you give and the blame you place on others and your posts about having security experts looking at this issue is also a broken record. Fix the PROBLEM !

if you don't spend the money now to fix the problem , you will be looking at a class action l law suit from a lot of disgruntled posters sueing you for the money they've spent to fix/restore their computers. i' m not going to start that lawsuit, but I will surely join it, and if requested both testify and provide detailed information about the amount and type of computer viruses that have attacked my computer from visiting your site. the amount of viruses your site inflicts on its posters is worse than a porn site. And i have to believe wit h the amount of posts on this forum in the past 5 years o n this same subject, you know I'm telling the truth.

your lack of action and attention to this problem and constant laying of blame on other sites, and saying this is typical of any chat forum are not the right answers . Rivals.com doesn't have this probelm. ESPN doesn't have this problem. yahoo doesn't have this problem. jsonline doesn't have this problem. brewerfan doesn't have this problem. MLB doesn't have this problem. many other sports forums don't have this problem. but your site has this problem on a recurring daily basis. my computer receives virus attacks from your site an average of twice per hour.

it's no longer annoying or funny. your site is a virus security joke. your site has become listed by many national security programs as a nontrusted infected site. is that the type of reputation you want? it's time you gave your site securit y a major overhaul, and installed some filters/protectio n tha t actuall y work.

and it's time to hire a new secuirty expert. the team you are using has done "virtually" nothing for the past 5 years. the security they provide and their solution is basically telling users to buy norton security. poster beware and protect yourself from possible viruses is not an acceptable answer.

I find it sad that these posts by many others besides myself basically are ignored. if you plan to take "NO ACTION" to fix the malware problems, you could at least have the courtesy to acknowledge our posts and that yes the problem does exist.

It comes from the advertisements so if they get rid of the advertisements then this site losses money which they want to avoid at all costs
