Re: NFC Championship: Bears Lead-up
I've never seen a playoff game where a QB has more time to throw than Cutler vs. the Seahawks today. And even with that, he was only decent throwing the ball. He will not have that luxury vs. the Packers.
My concerns this game are turnovers and the Bears special teams burning us. If those factors are eliminated and it becomes their O vs. our D and our O vs. their D, we will win.
One other thing: who the hell maintains that field at Soldier? It is a POS. Would love to get these bums on turf.

The Bears will advance to the NFC Championship game beating a total of three teams with winning records all season, all 3 them at home and by a TOTAL margin of victory of 11 points.

Win or I will become a crazy hermit man until baseball season starts. I will be placed in a psych ward if I have to watch the Bears go to the Super Bowl at our expense.

If the hip injury to Bears S Chris Harris is serious at all, that's a huge factor vs. Green Bay passing attack. He's playing at elite level

I'm not scared of this Bears team I'm worried about the conditions of the field and playing against a division opponent.

Wonder how much we'll be favored by.

This is exactly why losing next week would make me cry.

Yeah. Strange as it seems, we are a speed team that will do well in the Super Bowl in the controlled conditions of Dallas. But next week on a muddy track won't play to our strengths.

The weather wasn't great when we slaughtered the Giants, though I don't remember exactly what the conditions were.

Re: NFC Championship: Bears Lead-up
We apparently are headed for below zero by the end of the week. That may freeze the field more and help things somewhat. Not sure how they heat the turf at Soldier Field. We should be the late game also and have a lot of it played in the dark. This is going to be epic.

About 15-20 degrees with little wind. As long as it's not windy, we should be fine. The surface at Lambeau is better by leaps and bounds than it is at Soldier, though.

Random Thought: Is this going to be the 5th week in a row that Joe Buck and Troy Aikman have called a Packers game? I know it's for sure 4 in a row but I can't remember if they called the Packers/Giants game in Week 16.
