Yet another Flyer suspended

Post#1 » by timd1218 » Mon Dec 3, 2007 11:55 pm

Cote is gone for 3 games for his intent to injure. Anyone see this?

I have yet to see it. If anyone knows where I can watch it, please post the link here.

If this happens again, I think Philadelphia needs to be disciplined as a team. This is a joke.

I know what you're thinking. We're in the middle of a city, what's a hawk doing there?

Media outlets in Philadelphia today reported that commissioner Gary Bettman had warned Flyers' general manager Paul Holmgren about further incidents.

"I talked to (Bettman) today," Holmgren told the Philadelphia Daily News. "He thinks, like I do, that these are different coincidences, different situations, that have to be viewed differently, but the question was raised about ramifications if it happens again.

"So obviously we're under watch."

They need to step in and say you know what we are going to start taking points away in the standings or something like that. Just imagine if they try to run Sidney and knock him out for the season or somebody like that.

These hockey players are a discrase to the sport and for young players who dream to be in the NHL someday. Get these guys out before something or someone gets seriously hurt.
