If the Melo deal happens I think the Nuggets become a fire sale. JR Smith will end up in Chicago, and I do not think K-Mart will get delt just because of the injury concerns.
With that said Nene has a player option next season. If he sees Melo, Billups, and Smith all move on why would he want to pick up that option for a team basically rebuilding with picks?
A deal involving Nene and Renaldo Balkman for MoPete, Cook, White and Ivey will work under the cap. As long as the Nuggets agree to release Ivey so we can pick him back up in a month we could def add a first round pick (this years or the Clipps in 2012). Nene would allow the Thunder to let Aldrich grow at his own pace.
The new top 10:
Kristic/ Nene
Ibaka/ Collison
Durant/ Green
Thabo/ Harden
Westbrook/ Maynor
Nene

Re: Nene
Why would Denver accept that for Nene? You know there is a trade thread, right?

Unlikely. Nene might not even take his ETO...

true. If Melo leaves though he might want to get out of there if he feels like the organization is not all about winning.
