So don't talk to me about lying.

I was talking about this season. His wins last season are completely irrelevant to any discussion about how useful a mid season trade was especially since the NBA landscape changed since last season.

And after today's win the Magic are 10-4 when their new acquisitions have played which is a 71.4 win%(better then the Magic's record with Carter even when including games last season)

And the Suns are doing better with Carter than pre-Carter. If the Magic clearly won the trade they'd be doing worse.

They are doing worse.

Suns
Pre Carter: (w/J-Rich, Hedo, Earl)
13-13

After Trade (No Vince)
1-4

Vince Playing:
4-5

I am not here to bash or cause problems. I just read his post and wanted to reply with correct stats.

Not true. The Suns have exactly the same record with VC as they did with J-Rich.

4-5 with VC. 12-13 pre-trade (the Suns were 13-13 after they beat OKC short-handed).

Barely winning against Cavs.
Lost to Philly.
I think there was a lost to the Clippers.
A blow out lost against the Nuggets.

The Magic defeated both the Celtics and the Spurs.

Yep. The Suns totally won in the trade. 100%. No doubt.

What is with the hating of a player that is on your team (and producing for that matter). Is this typical of this teams fanbase? I could understand if the man came in and was noticably dogging it, or the team was significantly worse, but the guys played well and the team seems no worse with him than it was before the trade. I don't know if it's bitterness due to the loss of Amare and the teams fall from being a playoff contender but the fans on this board seem overly negative.

Vince had a great game today with 24pt, 12rbs, and 4asts. He's had 3 straight games with clutch play and is looking much better playing with Nash and the Suns.

I think that if the Suns can continue to play like this, the playoffs are more than just a possibility.

Vince looked very good today, and was very spry for a guys who's athleticism is alleged to be just about gone - the only thing I didn't like was that he hogged the ball on three straight possessions, and the only reason i could see was that he was one point from hitting 20K for his career.
He forced some bad shots on those possession and that kind of thing can really hurt chemistry

but he guy certainly showed he has lots of game left - which can only be good for us

Amare's defense made me sick.

Oh wait, he's not our liability anymore.

Vintage Vince brutally executed, one shot at the back of his head, washed-up Vince tonight. He was sick.

And Amar'e, come on, you don't allow Steve Nash to outrebound you.

I don't know if it's bitterness due to the loss of Amare and the teams fall from being a playoff contender but the fans on this board seem overly negative.

You know when you try to convince yourself to be positive towards your team's future when the team owner allowed your franchise player to walk away, which really isn't that big of a deal if we managed to find a decent replacement. We failed at finding a legit replacement.
And then we asked for Hedo without a pick. That was absolutely agonizing torture for me.
And then the team just flat out sucked because the new players we acquired don't fit in.
And when you consider Steve Nash is not getting any younger, and when he openly requested the management to keep the team intact only to have them get rid of almost half of the rotation players, it just broke my heart.
And then I watched a couple of games and nobody was hustling. The fans at the stadium were cheering for the opposing team. This brought tears to my eyes (not literally, but actually).
And then JRich, and most importantly, Earl Clark was traded to Orlando. It was painful, but tolerable.
And to sprinkle some salt on my wounds, Orlando flat out owned everybody - from legit contenders to lottery teams - a couple of games after the trade, and we just sucked, even against teams that are supposedly worse than us.

So forgive me for not having a positive outlook on the future when we don't have the cap space or the management to build something special. Oh yea and the owner is a cheap ass so he probably will just f--- Steve Nash over and (hopefully) sell the team.
I'm probably the most pessimistic person towards the team on the board, so no, I don't represent how the other members feel.

Can a camera man do any worse? Zooming in so much on the player that you only see a third of him at one point, and missing out to have the player and the rim completely in the picture for what would have been a great sight to see his legs and how high he was.

Just rewatched the last game on leaguepass.

Call me crazy but its almost like VC has read my post in the opening post!! Look at all his pumpfakes he suddenly did, I saw all games last year by him and I dont think he did as many pump fakes in that whole season as he did in that one game. He had several drives to the rim starting with a pump fake. I really like the way he played now.
