Tyler Hansbrough and Josh McRoberts should continue to see their minutes decline as Indiana Pacers coach Jim O’Brien said he will go with a smaller lineup for longer stretches of games. Hansbrough will continue start at power forward, but O’Brien said Monday before the Pacers’ game against the Los Angeles Clippers that he wants to spread the floor more often and give Danny Granger and Darren Collison room to penetrate. “When we have a power forward that can’t space the court , there’s really no driving opportunities there for the middle,” he said. With a smaller lineup, O’Brien said Granger, the team’s leading scorer, would be responsible for guarding Clippers rookie sensation Blake Griffin.

Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro also had success with a small lineup down the stretch of a 99-92 victory Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers and said he won’t hesitate to go to it against the Pacers. On the floor for most of the fourth quarter were guards Baron Davis, Eric Gordon and Randy Foye and forwards Griffin and Ike Diogu. “I thought we needed to spread [the Lakers] out a little bit and get some dribble penetration,” Del Negro said. “When we swung the ball, we could get in the lane.”

Yeah, i havn't seen much of Griffin but this dude is the real deal. When he went from college to NBA i didn't think he'd be much, and when he got hurt i was certain, but wow, this dude is good!

Why did it take so long for JOB to put DC back in?

Paul had a nice dunk.

PG is going to be a very nice defensive player. He gets so many deflections.

Blake is good but the refs need to stop babying him. Its pretty sickening watching him lower his shoulder into to people with no call then get a call when someone bumps him. He is 6'10 and built so it makes it almost impossible for the other team to body him up when the refs are so quick to blow the whistle. I thought Tyler did a good job denying him good position .. So much so the Clips started running pick and rolls to get him off of Blake. The key is to body him up but sometimes the refs wont allow that.

Collison was great the first Q but then the offense kinda reverted back to its usual form.

Granger is having a good game.. Just hope he doesnt fade like he did a few games ago.

Why JOB? Granger should never be guarding Griffin.

Get Dunleavy out of there he can't hit a shot or defend anybody. Paul George can do both.

Wow so he puts Posey in.

This makes me glad I'm not watching the game and I'm stuck at work. Think about that real quick.

wow Griffin is looking great again.
I was in LA (transit stop on my way to South America) and saw the clippers play memphis at staples some 5 weeks ago. it was my fist ever live NBA game I attended. Griffin was just an amazing player to watch

But anyway someone better do something to stop him and Gordon.
Mikey D is not doing much of anything this game. Lets get PG out there

Foster and Dunleavy are playin terrible.

Foster's overrated as a defender. Ike Diogu was torching him.
