No reason why Kobe should outscore Durant in this with our huge size advantage inside. Look for the Lakers to go inside early to establish the tempo. The last thing we can afford to do is allow the Thunder to run and get easy baskets.

We didn't look very fresh yesterday, Thunder's up tempo style means trouble anyway and its a b2b. Need big games by our bigs and a good defensive effort by Artest on KD and Kobe on Westbrook

Yep. You're definitely right. But i still wanna see both superstar trying to outdo each other. Ala Kobe vS. Tmac before. That would be awesome.

lakers need to start beating the good teams again.

this is a giant elephant in the room and the 1-7 record against winning teams or whatever it is needs to right itself.

i dont think we can win this game and the game against denver, so we will prolly have a 3 game losing streak which has started yesterday against the clips...its just what my gut tells me at the moment but i hope i am mistaken

Our bigs should have free reign on OKC tonight.

As we went thru the gauntlet of teams all with their superstar PG's last year...Russ West, DWil, Nashty, & Rondo...D Fish held his own on them all, but ONE; Russ West torched him.

I'm scared. :waaa:

I can see the defense playing differently tonight, stopping Russ West collectively trapping him and letting Durant do whatever he does with single coverage of Artest on him. Giving up jumpers (Durant) over a dunk or layup (Russ West) seems like the way to go.
