I suspect fans are going to be a lot higher on Kemba Walker than scouts are come draft day.

A Kemba/Evans back court does not sound like a good fit.

As a wolves fan, Id take Jonas over Kanter personally. Though Id be fine with either. Well, maybe not with Kanter if his knees dont check out

I think Kemba is a good fit for Evans.

From what I've seen, Kemba is really good at using screens and playing off the ball in general. He is already a fine shooter. So, spot up opportunities for Kemba will be constant as long Evans attracts all the defenses.

Also, can Kemba be the "Stephen Curry" for this class? e.g. team forces him to play scoring role despite having pretty good passing instinct?

Yeah, this is exactly what it is. Kemba is scoring out of necessity but I would also say hes more of a PG than Curry. Walkers biggest red flag is his height. He has strength & athleticism, he can pass and score, hes really improved as a shooter but anytime you are a 5'11-6'1 PG there are going to be concerns.

I also though that Petrie liked to go for the guys he thinks are the best & not go in the order scouts necessarily would which is why I went for Kemba at #4. Few saw Tyreke Evans over Rubio coming or Jason Thompson at 12 when he was projected a late first/early 2nd. Petrie even had Whiteside high on his board at #5 last draft.

Indiana is missing. They're at 15, Houston's at 14.

I'd take Jonas V. ahead of Kemba Walker for the Raptors.

I think Jonas V is the best talent available but I think Raps have far more need of a PG and a leader than they have a need for a project PF/C. I think Kemba will be able to step right in and help the Raptors whereas I dont think Jonas V would see any PT over guys like Ed Davis/Amir/Bargs until his 2nd or 3rd season.

Nailed it for Utah, that is exactly the draft I want to see. I also agree about Kemba, but I've flip-flopped on that position before.

That's a pretty big drop for Burks. I don't think Indiana passes him up for Morris with Hansbrough finishing as strong as he did.

I don't think Phoenix would pass on him either.
