During Dunn's suspension, Perry had the ball in his hands alot especially bringing the ball up to the mid court, if only he's able to have the ball in his hand everytime as a facilitator then we can see more of what he can do in that department (his passing ability and dribbling)

Perry is a 3, not a 4. Putting him at the 4 would be stupid on the team part. He's more likely to cover 3s with his length & athletic ability. Asking him to put on weight to play the 4 full time someday would be a lot more difficult. Anthony randolph is not a 4, Kevin Durant is not a 4. Neither is Perry. Even he knows that at the next level he will not be playing the 4 full time. He's not a tweener at all. He's just a tall swingman...

Fun game so far the score is tight but I'd like to see more actions from PJ and JS. They are disappearing on the offense ever since first buckets

Dunn is beyond terrible and selfish. He's not passing it inside to PJ when he had the post up position, instead tries to drive, no where to go and dish it back out terribly and turns it over.

Dunn is like a JR Smith, that's his role. He's probably selfish but when your role is to fill it up that's what you do. JR doesn't pass it to a bonified megastar in Melo but he's still huge for their success.

Jones' ability to compete on the boards is pretty bad.

P. Jones reminds me a lot of Anthony Randolph. Both with elite physical tools and athleticism, can handle the ball well and make plays, face up and knock down jumpers, rebound well, and have the versatility to play anywhere from the 3 to 5. The talent is certainly there, but both are pretty raw and would need ample playing time to develop.

Perry is younger and has higher upside, but I think I would be just as happy if we could acquire Randolph in a reasonable deal and try to play him primarily at the 3. As we've seen with Wright, having a long, athletic SF that can defend and is a willing passer can really bring balance to our starting lineup. I think I'd probably be more happy if we were able to land Kyrie or Terrence Jones with our pick.

Ya Perry just doesn't look like a prototype at the 3 or 4. He doesn't really have the footspeed or defensive awareness to guard 3's and he is just rail thin and unable to dominate post players. He has a good feel for the game but not much is refined. I really hope Kyrie Irving is available when we pick, there isn't a lot in this draft that is wowing me right now.

Perry doesn't really have a true position.

Kyrie Irving is head and shoulders the best player in this draft even with his injury.

Hes the only can't miss prospect....

Luckily for us team needs play a part and teams like Washington and Minnesota most likely
wouldn't take him. Sacramento could go PG or SF depending if their serious about playing
Tyreke at PG. Cleveland will take best player available. If the Nets stay the same and don't
make the Melo deal they probably go SF or Big.

As for Jones hes kind of soft and doesn't rebound well and his defense isn't the greatest.
Hes not even hitting the college 3 so matching him beside DeRozan who can't hit a 3 to save
his life would pair us with the worst 3 point shooting wing tandem in the league.

I think the Raps have a good chance to get Irving especially if they need to sacrifice the
Miami pick to move up if necessary.

Not sure team needs will play a huge part if the talent pool is so thin! It would make more sense for teams to draft Kyrie and trade him to a needy to for a piece that fits team needs than it does to draft a meh... PF, SF, SG. The rule of thumb always has to be best player available

Perry Jones has a lot of potential, but something is just missing...he seems to have a tendency to coast in games. I think you won't see a finished product in the NBA until about his 3rd or 4th season in the league.
