lol yea he woulda...they only were going to take him if they had the option to buy at the end of the season as well though.

Game vs Bari tomorrow, Amauri, Toni, Marchisio, Grosso all out. Meaning Sissoko and Grygera will start, and Giannetti (age 19) alongside Del Piero. Giannetti did score against Man City this year...making him more productive than Amauri, who also has only 1 goal which came in europa league, and more games played

Beat Bari 2-1, sweet free kick scored by Del Piero, and Aquilani scored the game winner. solid game, nothing special other than the fact that we actually won and deserved to.

Floro Flores looked set to be the forward we bring in, but he chose to go to Genoa at the last second... I'm not sure what great idea Marotta has up his sleeve now after promising a striker this transfer window.

With Buffon back, Storari is set to go. He really is a good goalie capable of starting for any team. The fans chanted his name while he was on the bench, it was really awesome. I wish him the best of luck where ever we send him! and hopefully it gets us money we can use to buy someone good :]

possible breaking news edit: http://www.football-italia.net/jan19b.html
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano has agreed terms with Juventus, but the two clubs have yet to settle on a fee.

La Gazzetta claims Juventus' general manager Beppe Marotta has offered to loan Fabiano until the end of the season at a cost of €2m. However, Sevilla intend to only sell the player outright for a figure close to €10m. Juventus are in a strong position, though, because Fabiano's agent has apparently already agreed personal terms.

The 30-year-old Brazil international currently earns €3.2m a season in Spain, but would slash his annual salary to around €2.5m if Juventus were to come to an arrangement with Sevilla.

Hello, old friends.

I would like to ask you Juventus supporters how do you feel about not getting Edin Dzeko?

We are devastated... Not really.

I thought we never had a chance.

lol if in the summer they don't get a forward i'll maybe tell you that I am upset. As good as he is I'm not concerned at all
:dontknow:

I have no idea why Sevilla is shopping Luis Fabiano. Maybe to get someone younger and to get money...

Forlán rumors are strong. At least that's what they report in the newspapers in Mexico.

Luis Fabiano wouldn't be a bad option, but it seems he doesn't have the right attitude.

Removing a guy from the shortlist because of attitude issues was reasonable for the 2005-06 Juventus. We're taking anyone useful now.

Still, they could use that money in a better player. They should really go after a "big named player". Juve needs a star player, a proved star, not one in the making.

Looks like we've missed out on everyone....

Pazzini to Inter, Cassano to Milan, and us--the team that really needs help--we got no one lol

Udinese this weekend will not be easy

On deadline day they did two goods things: Sold Amauri and finally got a striker.
Alessandro Matri, 26 year old goal scorer has been on Cagliari since '07. He's no Forlan or Luis Fabiano, but I approve and am excited. We have him on loan till the season's end with the option to buy for 15.5million euro. We also got Barzagli the other day and let Legrottaglie go to Milan.
it's probably all too little too late...we lost to Udinese who now also passed us in the standings. Champions League is outta reach because I don't see Milan, Inter, Napoli, or Roma letting us slip in past them.

30 million euro bid for Neymar. We lost that Piazon guy, who we pretty much had until Chelsea swooped in at the last second with a bigger offer. Neymar would be amazing...Will it happen? Nah probably not.

Juve play United in Gary Neville's testimonial game. Nice gesture.

good 3-2 win vs Genoa. Came back from behind twice...Luca Toni came on as a sub and gets man of the match!(assist/winning goal) he can really help out still when he has a lot of movement around him.

I remember the games in 2003 and 1999. I wish we had the strength of those days, but still it will be a nice game to watch.
