Maybe just let this discussion for people that actually wanna discuss.
All you do is throwing around "blabla Jax is better" "Jax >>>>>> XY" "Roddy sucks/Roddy did nothing blabla" and adding insults.
It doesnt matter what other people/FOs/GMs think about Roddy. Cuban and Donnie are so high on the kid that they wont throw him into "normal trades". They stated during the summer that they throw him just into potential kitchen sink offers for "superstars" like Paul/Melo etc. This just wont change, even with "desperation". The Mavs have enough other "desperation" options (Prince, Hamilton etc).
We want to discuss here REALISTIC Mavs-Bobcats trades. Roddy wont be part of a deal for any Bobcats player, thats a given if you really watched the Mavs and their FO closely the past months. There is also no reason to discuss or fight over if thats the right or wrong move because like i told it wont happen.
So Mavs player available: Everyone except Dirk, Roddy, Kidd, Chandler (and Marion, because no one takes that contract anyway).
Now the question what the Bobcats FO wanna do with the future/with Jax/Wallace. Do they like a realistic (!) Mavs offer so much that they trade Jax or Wallace?
I have no idea myself what the Bobcats should do. Too good for serious tanking/getting a high lottery pick with Jax/Wallace, just too weak to have a good shot to do serious damage in the playoffs. They are stuck in limbo with this roster.

It is funny how people come here basically saying "our whole team is untouchable, give us a player, deal or no deal? " lol.

"Lol, you don't understand, we're the Mav's, we're important. Give us both your best players for this dude who may never play again. We cool?"
Fools.

Yeah, the Mavs fans are so damn shameless asking for the 33year old with two more heavy years contract and just offering Caron Butlers bird rights and maybe an average talent (Jones) and/or pick.
And not willing to add their biggest talent...its not even close to what the Bobcats "paid" to get him: The expiring of Raja Bell and freaking Radmanovic. Wait, not even a talent or 1st? Why not, he was even 1.5 years younger...
Some guys here need a reality check about the trade value of Stephen Jackson with his past, his age and his contract.
And he wont lead the Bobcats to any bigger success and just trading Crash and keep Jax wont add enough talent either...

Re: Mavs/Cuban interested in JAX?
The real desperation move with the Bobcats would be Jax/Wallace for Butler/Roddy/Jones but i doubt that will happen.
Desperate??? We're not desperate to make the playoffs like Cuban is, in fact anything short of reaching the finals for him would be a complete failure. We're not the one who lost their 3rd best scorer and are now devoid or lacking any real offensive threat outside of Terry and Dirk. We're not a contender whose in danger of letting that slip away after a 6 game skid, that could slide to 7 when they face the Lakers tomorrow night.
MJ has the upper hand in any deal with the Mavs, he has the player that could get that team back on track. Roddy's a nice asset to have, but I'm not losing any sleep over not getting him and i'm sure MJ and the whole FO ain't either. So keep Roddy, we're good
