Blake Griffin's Impact With Other NBA Fans

Post#1 » by jrichordieflyin » Tue Jan 18, 2011 9:51 am

As Clippers fans we need to make sure we realize what we have on our hands. We are some of the luckiest fans in the NBA, and I never thought I'd be saying that about us.

This is an article about Blake's impact on the rest of NBA fans that I found on Bleacher Report.

Blake is looking to make a statement each and every game that the culture is about to change it's a positive thing to have when we have been terrible for so long.

We're still not getting the love from the media, I know that will take time. It's not enough that we've been playing better, we need to make the playoffs to get respect from the media.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Everyone and their mom is coming out of the woodwork to be fans of Blake Griffin and of the Clippers...This is obviously a good thing, but it seems like all of the Clippers fans who've been fans way before Griffin are getting forgotten, and mixed in with the bunch.

Anyway, I'm just praying that Blake stays away from injury (much like Lebron and Dwight Howard have throughout their career, given their very athletic style of play), and that Blake somehow signs an extension, much like Durant quietly did last year.

A huge win streak would help our cause.

Blake is humble and hardworking, some NBA players should take example from him (even veterans).
"But Olajuwon still believes James, 27, is just scratching the surface."
Enough said

As a Cavalier fan who saw every LeBron game, I can say without question that Blake Griffin would have been the only guy I would have traded him for... Not Dwight, not Durant, not Rose etc...

The only thing missing in LeBron's make up as a player is Blake's mindset/work ethic....

I truly hope the Clippers can hold onto him and build that team accordingly.... (Don't want to forget Gordon.. He kinda gets lost in the shuffle with Rose/Westbrook--but he's just a flat out great scorer... Nice old school game)

Yeah, I also was just watching some Griffin highlights and stopped by to say what an amazing young player you have. He is a unique NBA player and Clipper fans deserve the good news and get the franchise on track. Front office listening?
