How much money would you pay to have the Packers win Sun.?

Post#1 » by Mags FTW » Wed Jan 19, 2011 6:23 am

Simple question. How much money out of your own pocket would you be willing to give up to have the Packers win? The money line for the Bears is currently at +170. For those unfamiliar with gambling that means if you bet $100 on the Bears to win the game, you would win $170 plus your initial $100 if they won. If the Packes win, you lose your money but you get to see the Packers beat the Bears for the NFCC in Chicago, and go to the SB. So basically what's the most amount of money that you would be willing to bet on the Bears, that you wouldn't care about losing the bet because you would be so happy the Packers won?

Or i guess another way to look at it is how much money would you need to win on a Bears bet to adequately console you?

At least 1 testicle.

Edit: Wait, if I bet one testicle, and they won, would I have 3? Or something?

You would be willing to lose $1000 or you would want to win $1000?

I'd probably give $1,000 too, maybe more. Would love to see Rodgers get a shot at ring early in his career.

Absolutely nothing. Paying for an outcome cheapens the experience.

This guy just bet $100 me that GB WOULD win it all so, that's a win-win situation IMO.

I am huge into gambling as some know so I was thinking about putting $200 on the Bears ML just for the hell of it. Hoping I lose the bet of course. Winning the bet would mean the Packers would lose but I would pocket $340. I would be really upset that the Packers lost since 340 isnt that much in gambling terms however. If I had a chance though I would pay 1000 if it guaranteed the Packers winning the game.
