OT: The NBA 3 point competition.

Post#1 » by kam_soluusar » Wed Jan 19, 2011 7:51 am

Look, I know that the Dunk Comp and 3 point comp really don't mean much. (The dunk comp is now oficially a joke, if Nate Robinson can win it 3 times!) However it will be a Travesty if at least 1 Rocket is not there.

Martin, Brooks, Budinger, Battier and Lowry should all be worthy of consideration. Seriously, who else deserves a spot, and the Rockets are snubbed almost every year.

(Actually, Budinger should be in the dunk comp, but that's debate enough for another thread!)

you like this team way too much if you think anyone other than martin should be in all star weekend. everyone else is either a good or average 3pt shooter, martin is the only all star 3pt shooter we have, he should be def be considered. maybe once brooks gets bigger minutes he starts makinig a lotta 3s, but it's takin him awhile to get back there.

and bud is an in game dunker, not really a flashy windmill guy. plus he barely started playin good. and scola aint an all star, he's a good role player.

AB should have been in the 3pt contest last year.

Battier and Lowry shouldn't be able to sniff the 3 point competition

Martin should be in the 3 pt competition. Brooks is a good shooter, but I see him as more of an in game shooter with a hand in his face than a 3 pt competition shooter.

The college 3 pt line is closer than the NBA line, but it's still impressive. This wasn't impressive though:

daam that intern is perfect if i was over 6 foot. she's surrounded by black guys, there's a void to be filled and i should be filling that void :( . she looks like my math teacher from high school, who was also in track. sometimes saw her in her track suit, wore shorts, god daam.

i know some of you interent nerds are gonna say "her face isnt that great" bla bla bla i wish i had that captioned picture of that kid saying some girl isnt hot cuz of some rediculous nit picking bullcrap. "her eyebrow/nose to mouth/boob ratio is so off by like .03%" smh

I'd LOL at the consideration of Budinger and Lowry in the three point contest. However Martin could/should get some consideration, worst form in a three point contest?

^ It would probably look normal since he usually brings the ball to his right hip and the ball rack is already at his right hip.
