I would love to see the Watson and D-will with sap and AL. However when we had Fisher and D-will out there we also had problems starting strong if you remember.

I just expected him to be a better 3 point shooter and defender. It seems like he has slipped in both of those areas and those are the two thing we really need him to do. Maybe I had too high of expectations for his defense (it's not bad, just not as good as I had hoped) but his lack of consistent 3 point shooting is what really kills me.

Well, he's shooting a very respectable .391 from 3.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

The last few games have certainly helped that average. He has been on fire of late.

Well, anyone expecting him to come off that injury on a hot streak wasn't thinking straight. We had to know it would take him a while to get warm. The thing that is bothering me about him in the starting lineup, is that he doesn't have a lot of energy and doesn't run the floor that well, and doesn't finish well at all at the rim. I think he should come off the bench for 5 or 6 shots.

And probably because 50% of his outside shots are on the line....

Why not start Watson at PG and move Dwill to SG then the team will "run" more. If Dwill wants to "run" more than he needs to look at himself as he is the main slow starter who doesnt push the ball whatsoever until the second half of games.

My thoughts as well, From my eyes it has been Deron that wait to turn up the intensity.

Yup, I'll take what he is doing, I got really sick of 2's dropping unreal numbers on us night in and night out.

I think Bell came in on top of the mountain. Few things excite Jazz fans more that a guy that stood up Kobe for a market that has the connotation of boring. It gives us some hope that maybe that's not always a problem.

I am satisfied with his performance so far. Not overwhelmed, but happy. I also wouldn't mind it if he came off the bench.

That two and a half inches definitely raises his rate by 4 or 5%.

I think the real problem with this team is we aren't able to space the floor effectively. Milsap and Jefferson are both interior oriented, AK is challenged shooting from the outside, Bell is inconsistent. We need Memo to be able to play and add an outside threat for either Jefferson or Milsap. This will improve spacing by taking Memo's defender out of the interior. It will improve the P&R execution, which should improve early execution and scoring woes. The only question is Memo read to play more.

I'm an advocate of Memo starting, but I'd rather have Al come off the bench than Sap. Millsap doesn't take as long to get going in a game, and would likely force the 5 of the other team to guard Memo on the perimeter, which would be good in most cases.

Edit: keeping the past 2 games in mind, I don't care who would come off the bench, in fact it might be good to cut Sap's minutes a bit to let him recoup what he seems to have lost.
