I'll bet they are. Here's the good news for the Nuggets, Favors is now off the table. But they can have whatever picks they want.

I want to see Melo go to New Orleans so bad now.

I know most people say it's pretty much impossible even if they could come up with a good package because no one really owns the team and therefore they can't add salary, but what perspective buyer would turn down the chance to own a team with CP3, Melo, David West and Okafor?

True contender right there.

Aww boohoo. I thought they had a trade with the Knicks ready, afterall they wouldn't have threatened to trade him to the Knicks right? Oh they didn't have a trade with the Knicks in place? Oh too bad, now they'll be losing Melo and get nothing in return, nice dealing with you Nuggets

People will be lining up to play in Jersey when that arena is built, just gotta weather the storm a little bit.

I think those are just rumors. We played AK47 tonight. They're both Russian. But I thin that's the end of the conversation.

Eh actually, I think he'll want AK to come here, but not on some super fat contract or as the permanent starter depending on what happens in the future.

Magic fan here. Seems like a lot of people think this is a bluff. What do you guys think?

It could be, but if it is, it's not air, it's a semi-bluff with an open ended straight flush draw on the flop.

I could see why people think its a bluff, saying something like this in a press conference shows that management isn't going to give into Denvers demands.

I cant see them making a deal unless its like a week prior to the deadline and Denver doesn't like any of the offers they've received. They were right when they said it became too much of a problem, you could see this had an impact on their performance. I would like for them to have talks with Memphis about Mayo, call Charlotte and see whats up with Wallace or Jackson and what are they asking for in return. Same for Granger as well although I don't think he will be traded but he's someone I like and wouldn't mind having on this team.

if this trade is indeed dead... this is soo good for the nets in the longrun... melo is not a winner and he will never lead a team anywhere

Speaking as a Blazer's fan, I'm glad the Melo trade apparently has broken down for
I never thought it made much sense from the Net's POV. Blazer fans are tired of
reading the Batum to the Nuggets and Harris to Portland rumors.

I dont know why anyone who is a Net fan would be disgruntled that this trade didnt go through. You guys get to keep favors and your lottery 1st round picks. You guys would have gutted your team for a middle of the pack NBA Franchise. I personally think you guys did a good thing pulling out, and even if it seems like a biased opinion from a knicks fan i really mean it.

I think most of us are happy. Hopefully no other team will do the same mistake that we were going to make.

What's eating Woj?

Yeah that was some straight venom.

Guess who isn't getting a Christmas card in Russian this year?

With the exception of the free agent spiel, he's pretty much on point though, he just didn't have to be that big an ass hole about it and make it personal towards Nets fans.

Woj has perpetual sand in his vagina. No amount of washing can get it out. As a result, every article he writes has to be controversial and absolutely hate filled.

I honestly don't get why any of you guys think he's a good writer. Everything he writes is just to get attention. He's nothing more than a West Coast Peter Vescey. I don't care what you guys think about him, he'll never be anything but a complete hack writer imo.
