Nice article in the papers this morning

I was reading the Journal de Montreal this morning and I read a nice article on Ovechkin.

He will be a free agent this summer and Montreal are talking about making a push to try to get him...Word on the street,he likes Montreal and he is good friends with Andrei Markov...

I know it sounds impossible but man......Ovechkin in Montreal would be a dream come true....A 50 goal a year scorer in town!!!

You know I actually heard about this possibility a couple months ago. I'd jump at this opportunity right away. Won't come around too often.

That would be unreal. But I seriously doubt he would come to Montreal. It seems to me that all true stars seem to shy away from Montreal, for some reason.

I would be willing to screw our cap over to get him

Well he's really good friends with Markov, and is always talking about the passion in Canadian arenas and how he loves playing in it. So I think it is definitely a possibility.

Yeah, I was crushed by this lol. I would have loved to have had Ovechkin as a Hab. Oh well... maybe we'll get lucky and he'll request a trade in to Montreal in a couple years!! haha

Just to think about it,those type of contracts makes me sick!
It is a discrace to hockey!Take my word,this situation will make lock out come back again,people complained when we didnt have hockey for a year,this is the same reason why it started in the first place!

Ps:Im also pissed because I wanted him
