A fake "Favre" spoofing the LeBron commercial.

Some pretty funny moments.

LeBron drops from 2 to 11th on the most powerful athlete list.

It's funny, because the article connects the drop to his announcement and the harm to the goodwill that his name carried, just as many predicted. Maybe he'll do better in the long run, but despite his talent and charisma, for now it looks like he doesn't know how to choose advisors.

I wonder where Arenas ranks on this list? (Is it that long?)

Arenas is not on the list. Not sure if he was last season. Derrick Rose is the last basketball player on the list.

Dwayne Wade also had a dramatic drop in his ranking(down to the 30s).

With such a monumental game, even LeBron James feels like we all have a right to watch it. He was asked about the game and said it should be televised. Via Michael Lee of the Washington Post's Twitter:

“I think that should be a nationally televised game right there, honestly.” He added, "Something has to give in that game."

Bump.

In case anyone has a comment about refs' slavish devotion to the Bron.

Le BJ's skin gleams
"That's not his sweat," said the ref,
His long tongue dripping

LeBJ's so fast and so strong, he's like a charging bull. It is kind of funny, calling fouls on the china shop.

The reality is that you are not allowed to guard Lewhine or Wade. Touches or near touches on any miss result in a whistle. At one point Cry baby had 17 points, with 11 of them coming from the line. And it's not like the mighty Wiz kids were manhandling him.

LeBJ inhaled
The penumbra of the charge
And got two FTs

From the wiretap:

The relationship between former friends and teammates LeBron James and Daniel Gibson took another hit on Saturday night, according to sources.

It began at a birthday party for Gibson on Friday night. During the event, two witnesses told ESPN.com that Gibson made a reference to being the new king of Cleveland during a toast.

According to a source close to Gibson, James became upset upon hearing about the claim. The source said James and Gibson later resolved the issue because Gibson didn't mean to insult James.

However, the issue wasn't resolved before the two engaged in a war of words on Twitter.

Via Brian Windhorst/ESPN.com

Douche isn't even in Cleveland any more. I bet that half the town wants to tar and feather him. And yet he gets all defensive about something that Gibson would say.

Say it with me peoples: Douchebag.

When Amare got all ball when LeBron went to rim, LeBron claims that Melo touched his wrist. Of course the vehement reaction that followed indicated that Anthony tried to chop off LeBron's hands.

That's what I noticed. Melo did a great job of denying the lane to Lebron and Amare guessed correctly that James was going to the hoop and he timed his move perfectly. Sometimes the other guys just play good defense. If some guys complained for a foul in that situation you wouldn't think twice about it, but with Lebron, I, anyway, immediately looked to see if Lebron would start whining. Sure enough, he did.

I don't mind players working the refs, but what bugs me about Lebron is that he's the most physically gifted player in the world and he gets enormous deference from the refs...and it still isn't enough for him. He really does think the world owes him a championship. He doesn't want to have to earn it the way other guys did/do.

First the huge collapse against the Magic, which I missed unfortunately. Now tonight the Spurs are pole axing them. I love it.
