..which college do you think he would have went to? I'm bored and thought this would be a good thread.

Duke

I think they had a verbal agreement before he decided to skip college.

Pretty sure he had it narrowed down to Duke and Michigan, with Duke being the clear favorite.

College or millions of dollars. I think I choose the millions. College will always be there. Fisher is in his 15th year and he is 36. Kobe in his 15th year is 32. So that is the real difference.

Kobe also has 4 years of extra NBA mileage where as Fisher does not.

Duke where he wanted to go could of easily on a title then went off to the nba but im glad he didnt he got to face jordan.

DUKE...

Believe it or not Coach John Calipari (UK) was long time follower of Kobe. Cal was with the Nets at the time but he entertained the idea that he could land Kobe. He was on Coach Cals radar for a longtime. Like now as was back then whenever Cal paid to much attention to a player other coaches and scouts were soon to follow.

He was routinely hounded by Duke, North Carolina, Villanova and Michigan. Simply because he indicated that these were his faves.

4 years? they were selected in the same draft.

if anything, fisher has 4 extra years of college miles

It's always been Duke.

I remember Kobe once said the only Coach he had his ear open to during his
senior year in high school was Coach K.
