I completely agree! Sometimes he seems like he is a step ahead of everyone with his IQ then he will force a shot or do something stupid. I think he is aware of what he is doing but he does it for the fun of taking a tough shot and making it in someones face.

And I completely disagree with people picking Kobe. Not that he has a J.R Smith level BBIQ or anything like that, but a lot of the time he makes decisions that hurt him and his team, he'd be a better and more effective player if his BBIQ was higher.

The guy is the most intelligent player on film without question. He understands every little detail which most players don't focus on and understands game planning as good as most coaches. He's a coach on the floor. Defensively, he understands the assignments better than the offensive player and cause havoc on defense for many opponents.

On another note. Typing in caps is childish. Your sentences are feeble. I wish realgm had a section for noobs and one for knowledgeable posters. That way noobs like you wouldn't be able to spam the forum with utter non-sense.

I'd give my vote to Kidd. IMO he has an argument for the highest BBIQ ever. Brilliant in nearly aspect of basketball, rebounding, defense, offense, and the 100 million intangibles I can't list off the top of my head.

An almost Rafer Alston level scoring threat that could be an all star purely on offensive ability (not that his defense and rebounding didn't help) speaks volumes about Kidd.

Kidd is most definitely in the discussion. He didn't cross my mind since his impact isn't the highest and I don't watch the Mavs like I used to. Kidd is one of the smartest players All Time.
