Except he shorted them. And their private life is just that, private, but when it becomes public, it becomes a problem. Lance just needs to stay away from New York City. He is just not a smart dude, if he just paid up, he wouldn't be exposed like this.

Pretty much where I'm at as well. If we only heard rumors, but nothing ever came out, I doubt anyone would care.

However, when it's somewhat document-able and out in the public eye, it becomes a franchise issue at that point.


I want to like Lance Stephenson. I really do. He's a dynamic young player and could be ultimate high reward. However, he's not starting off really well in his NBA career. Nor is he being an intelligent young man. Sure, the talent is still there, but he's doing nothing to give the impression that he's going to put it all together and be focused on the court.

Exactly. The Pacers are struggling for sponsors and this type of stuff is not helping out. Either way, i don't think this will blow up, and i do think it may have been made too big of a deal mainly because it is Lance Stephenson who is in the center of this video, who shorts this hooker $1000. However, this just screams future problems to me. If you're on the edge of making it or not making a multi-million dollar business and your work isn't the problem but your character, you'd think you would learn how to act, atleast just a little bit. Him shorting them shows he learned absolutely nothing and it's probably just a preview of whats ahead.
