Damien Wilkins has been playing great, and i would love to see him get more minutes. maybe the Hawks can take advantage of Evan's expiring contract to get a defensive back up Center like:
Chris Andersen
Chris Wilcox
Ben Wallace
Jordan Hill
Hasheem Thabeet
JaVale McGee
Trade Mo Evans

Harry, I'm not sure where you're getting these ideas that guys like Mo Evans have any value. Yeah, he's expiring... but he's not even making $3 million this year. And you think we'll get guys like Jordan Hill or JaVale McGee?

Yeah, thinking that Mo could net Hill or McGee is prolly a little ambitious (well, more than a little...), but I could see him netting some of the other names on the list (any 1 except Andersen really). We could send enough $$ with Evans to pay the rest of his contract, so any team willing to simply shed some salary would more than likely be amicable.
From the other names listed, I personally wouldn't want either Wilcox (more of another PF than a true C) or Thabeet (should we really be attempting to develop someone or are we going for it?), but I wouldn't mind us making the play for Wallace. He's not what he used to be, but he's still a tough inside defensive presence who'll grab some rebounds and is still an upgrade from Collins. He's a vet who knows how to win championships and could be the "heart" that we're missing when Zaza disappears (which is more often than not this year). He's cheap and helped hold Dwight to under 10 points the last time they played (albeit Gortat went 14/11 on him less than a week later). Wallace for Mo + cash would seem to work from both sides...

Got to admit I thought last season should have been Mo's last here in Atlanta. I was thinking the Hawks should have went another route and he's proven me 100% correct with his poor shooting and spotty play so far.

Not at all, go right ahead. It's not exclusive.
