Duke vs NC state is on the score ri now.

Notable names. Nolan Smith on duke, CJ leslie on NC state....

If we were to grab smith the miami pick that would be a decent return. We\d have to ship out bayless though

Finally a Kyrie Irving update with some details on the actual injury. Sounds like he might possibly be back for the tourney:

Last week, Irving began walking around without using the crutches he had been using since the foot was placed in a cast in early December.

Drederick Irving said his son has been able to lift weights and do some cardio work to help stay in shape.

But the real test will come on Feb. 4 when the toe is exposed to more stressful activities for the first time since the initial injury. How the injured area responds will determine if Irving will be able to return to the Blue Devils this season.

Sounds like good news. Not great or anything but definitely means there's a solid chance he'll be back.

Hope Irving doesn't come back playing at the tourney, I'd much rather him getting more rest.

Thanks. Took some time, but it was worthwhile, as I tend to remember things better after I right them down then simply scanning a list. It was interesting to see some of the names on the 2012 list.

WSBK is channel 571 on Rogers HD.

For whatever reason I don't catch the channel in standard def (343), but the HD Channel is part of the HD package.

I missed Tennessee at UConn at 2:00 on CBS. (thought CBS was doing the Women's Basketball crap again)

Kemba Walker 2011 #6
Tobias Harris 2011 #19 (I have a feeling he will end up in top )
Scotty Hopson 2012 #37 (the early 90's high fade is back)
Alex Oriakhi 2012 #36

Villanova is playing very well early. 8-13 on 3 point FG's.

Blow-out early. Villanova up by 14.

I'm still not sure why Draft Express has Yarou at #5 for next year. Nothing special about the guy - seems like a typical second round big man to me.

I think Joseph is justifying his first round status in Big East Play (where is he averaging 20 a game). Would not mind looking at him with the Miami pick.

I still there is a slight chance a team may take a flyer on Rick Jackson late first round but he will second round -- nice hands, good passer, crafty around basket, great rebounder. However no jumper at all, and he is not a center. Some team may see a role for him.

Wayns seem about right as a second rounder - was red hot in the first half. Good ballhandler, but just average point skills IMO.

I like a Kemba Walker / Demar Derozan backout. We are going to the FT line early & often...

Jared Sullinger 27pts, 16 reb as a freshmen for the number one team in the country. At what point do we start to consider him -- if at all?

I see where you're coming from on this but I don't think we can risk drafting a scoring point guard as our leader of the future just because we don't have anyone else who can handle the ball in the mold of Lamar Odom, Brandon Roy, Tyreke Evans, etc. Kemba would be the only guy who could create and a lot of that would be for himself which leads to a stagnant offense as opposed to guys like Irving or Knight who create for themselves but even more for their teammates.

I can guarantee you that Colangelo will not be drafting a 6'0 junior (at least not with the Raptor's pick).
