I think the "Dunce Cap" for the Suns board should be the PBnJ award

I think it would do wonders for numbing the sting of a loss. Screw the gay "Gorilla Game"

Re: Phoenix Suns Board "Scout A Player" (Wiz Game)
Hakim Warrick Scouting Report vs Wizards
2nd Quarter
Great defence played on JaVale McGee. McGee attempted a fade-away jumper in the lane, but missed due to Warrick having a hand in his face.
Got caught in a screen near the basket, forcing Dudley to leave his man to guard Warrick’s. The Wizard’s player missed, with Warrick getting the rebound.
Warrick went for a Sunday morning stroll in the park. Travelling Fool!
Warrick received a great pass from Dragic, in which he half dunked/half lay-uped the ball in. Should have been and-1, but he finished it very very well.
Gets a good charging call on his opponent. His opponent used his off hand to push him off, and it was enough for Warrick to milk the contact. Smart play.
4th Quarter
Receives pass from Nash. Great pump fake freeze his defender, which he follows with a slam.
Hakim grabs the offensive rebound off a Carter missed 3. He tips it in nicely. Great play.
Overall
Overall, I was quite impressed with Warrick's performance. He didnt get many minutes, but when I did get the minutes, he made them count. He still lacks a bit on defence, often losing his man, but he has improved since the start of the season.

Where are all the other write-ups?
Vince Carter vs The Wizards: My impressions
1st Quarter:
-Right before tipoff, you can see Vince messing around and joking with Blatche and Rashard. Let me tell you people, you can't stop this man's carefree friendly attitude.
-Vince's first miss was a nice spot up shot from 3 that he rimmed too hard. Few possessions later, he sags too much in the paint and can't close out quick enough on Young, who swishes a 3.
-Next posession, Vince has a nice spin in the paint, but then misses a point blank layup. He later hits himself gently on the head as if he's saying "Come on, wtf are you doing man?". (It's always a mental thing with Vince guys)
-Vince gets caught in a screen and Nick young hits another 3. Vince at the start looks nothing more than getting ready to stop up for 3s.
-Vince had a nice dish to Lopez, but Blatche blocks Lopez's shot.
-Vince immediately after getting a rebound, outlet passes it to G-Hill who hits a nice reverse.
-Young hits another 3, and is lighting up vince. (It was expected, guy has been balling and he moves well without the Ball, Vince has had trouble guarding players like that his whole career.)
-Vince has a nice crossover move passing two defenders, and runs right into Javale McGee, but no foul called and Gentry is yelling at the ref as well as Vince.
-Vince gets nice positioning in the post against Young, but loses his balance a bit, and then misses a tough fadeaway jumper.
(At the 3:49 mark, Vince leaves the game for Dudley, 0-4 and doesn't have his shot going and is being lighted up by Nick Young. Does have a couple of rebounds.)
2nd Quarter:
-Vince starts the quarter with the bench. suns are down by 11 at this time.
-Vince is now matched up with Al Thorton. Thorton would have a even worst shooting game than VC does at the end if that's even possible.
-Vince's first move in the 2nd quarter is a nice drive, but gets blocked. Good to see that Vince isn't settling.
-with Dragic and VC in the lineup, they alternate who brings up the ball and sometimes Dragic plays off ball. VC tries a floater in the lane and hits the back of the rim. Claps his hand in frustration, but at least those misses were two drives.
-vince is in an iso situation with Rashard, does his little signature crossover to get some separation but shots too long. No points yet.
-young comes back in, and it's now Dudley on him, with VC on Rashard.
-VC again has a iso with Blatche, and takes him off the dribble then hits a nice layup off the glass. his first two points, FINALLY! He is 1-8.
-Carter next misses a spot up jumper from 20ft, and then next offensive possession gets good position in the paint and gets fouled. He makes 1-2 freethrows. (3 points)
-Vince makes a nice defensive play where he steps in and takes a charge from Blatche.
-Vince gets an extra rebound and another possession.
-Halftime, and Vince is 1-9, and has 3 points, 4+ boards, and has had a really bad shooting night to start.
3rd Quarter:
-Vince has taken off both of his shooting arm sleeves. People may think he looks chunky, but Vince is actually a pretty lean and skinny guy. I mean look at his legs. his upper body is just more built. the reason Vince probably took off his sleeves was to reverse his shooting woes. It's ALWAYS been a mentality thing with Vince, and use to do this all the time. He would wear headbands at the start of games with the Nets, and then have no headbands in the 2nd half to try to reverse his shooting woes. One game he did that, it led to a gamewinner from Vince.
-Young is on VC on D, but G-Hill is on Young on D. good move by Gentry.
-Vince again gets a rebound and has a quick outlet pass to G-Hill who makes the layup.
-Carter attacks the rim, and then runs into Javale McGee again. AND AGAIN no call. he's not reaching in, but there is so much body contact that it's obvious.
-Vince boxes out against Shard, loses the rebound, but immediately jumps high and swats Rashard's shot! Vince's up's were on display there.
-You see Vince and Nash talking about something during some freethrows. I've noticed they do this alot since Vince came over. I wonder if they ever talk about defensive rotations..
-Frye makes a quick swing pass to Vince in the corner, and Vince reacts quickly, passing Rashard with a quick turn to the right, and then sidesteps mcgee and throws a reverse jam! Yeah...I admit that made me excited, haha. Apparently so did the fans in D.C. (Dunk of the night!)

VC 1-1.
-Vince gets a wide open spot up 3 in transition and has made 5 points in the 3rd quarter. bringing the lead to 13points. 2-2(8pts)
-Vince misses a spot up 3 from the same spot, but then Vince makes a great play running the floor and swipes the ball from Trevor saving a quick two.
-Vince has another drive in the lane but gets bloked again. smh.
-3rd quarter ends. Vince ends up 2-3, but was blocked twice, and had a much better going.
4th Quarter:
-Vince comes in at the 5:02 mark with the rest of the starters.
-Vince gets a nice screen from gortat, then hits a shot over Blatche, nothing but net. 3-4 in the 2nd half.
-Vince does what he usually does, talks with the people who have courtside seats, then misses a 3.
-Game ends, Vince ends up with 12 points, 10rbs, 1ast, 5/17 and then does his usual chat with all other players and then all the former Magic players have a mini-reunion and talk about how they all are not going to win a championship this year.
Summary:
-I actually liked Vince alot better than in Cleveland.
-In that Cleveland game he was kind of coasting, but in this game he was just having a bad shooting night. He was attacking the rim(with no success, but at least he was attacking)
-Made some great defensive plays with a charge and then stopping a fast break, (But got lit up in the 1st half by Young.)
-Was 1-9 in the 1st half, but 3-5 in the 2nd half. Also made another big shot in the clutch.
Vince had an okay game, but I would rate him a C+.

Gortat vs the Wizards
He had an even better game than the one against the Cavs scoring 13 points and getting 14 rebounds. Was perfect from the free throw line and played his best game as a Sun.

Carter vs Wizards (round 2)
Wow RvM...
I missed the first half, but RvM did more than enough covering his play by play so I think it's alright. Maybe if I had seen the 1st half I'd have something different to say, but overall I liked VC's play. He seemed to be moving well on the defensive end, and while I don't like to see him get the ball on the offensive end just to play with a couple pump fakes or jab steps, then just hoist up a jumper/fade-away, I figure he does that because he is VC.
The main thing that stood out to me in this game (and I think RvM picked up on it too) was that VC seemed invested. He usually seems disassociated, but when there are intense moments he gets fired up, almost because he expects the camera to be on him (and it usually is) so he is putting on a show. During this game, when the camera hit VC he was either chatting it up with Nash or Hill or whoever, he wasn't looking disinterested or distracted, and it looked like he played with some heart for once since dawning a Suns jersey.
Maybe the winning streak is helping with that whole "heart" issue our team has. Maybe...

Haha, no worries man. I watch everything about Vince since his days in Toronto. it's a little bit embarrassing to say but I'm a bit obsessed. BUT! I am objective, I swear. I mean really, all us Carter fans are dedicated. Heck, Maxamillion711 has every single game of Vince's career recorded. We are some very dedicated player-fans, haha.
And I get what your saying. I think the chemistry with this team has been alot better. Everyone is already clicking and I think Vince is playing with a lot of heart right now (minus the Cavs game) and it's help get this team rolling.
We should do another "Scout A Player" for a bigger game like against the Celtics next week. That'll be a better evaluation of our team.
