We're playing no defense whatsoever.. Lopez has been non existent on that end of the floor so far.

OMG Brook put in before the 6 minute mark! Finally a rotation that makes sense (kind of)!

That last play was almost as bad as the Mavericks getting away with another BS call when they mugged Harris in the face (on the trip right before Dirk hit his shot)...

the refs were on the mavs d***s the entire night they shot like 10 or 12 more freethrows than we did and down the stretch a lot of things werent called that shouldve gone in our favor.

on a positive note we had won 2 straight before this game and we only lost to the mavs by 1 point. we should win our next game against the cavs and our schedule is lightening up a little bit after that ridiculous first half schedule

For all the good Devin did this game, I'm still scratching my head on that last shot attempt he got where Marion "fouled" him.

I mean I understand there isn't necessarily anyone else to give it to in that situation cause they'll just collapse on Brook if you hit him in the low post, but it just made no sense.

What a terrible shot and decision, I mean there's 12 on the clock, we have the lead and he decides the best thing to do is pull up for a heavily contested jumper after a crossover relatively early in the shotclock?

Ugh...

And this is why I don't want Devin on this team.

He would be great on a contender, but he just isn't the right fit for a rebuilding squad like this.

Dirk looks like a shell of himself too, they need to sit him for a couple more weeks, that knee is obviously bothering him, game winner aside.

Entertaining game though.

What really stands out about the last few possessions was.....look at how easy it was for Dallas to inbound on there last play. J Kidd just did a little scramble and grabbed the inbound pass with little defensive pressure from us. Then fed the ball to Dirk and they timed it that if thsat shot missed they had time to either rebound or fowl us....

Now look at when we inbounded the ball. They played us so tight that we had to thow the inbound beyond Harris just so get it off before we timed out. From there everything was rushed and even if that last shot would have went it wouldn't have counted because it was still in Farmers hands when the lights went on. Six seconds in the NBA is a long time.

Avery has got to sit these guys down and go over the tape.

Anyway, what do you guys think about Rick Carlyle?

Love Rick Carlisle. One of my favorite coaches, think he's way underrated and hated on for almost no reason.
