The Wizards allowed 27 points in the entire second half. Granted, much of it was because Boston couldn't make a shot, but still, that's a nice defensive effort.

Somehow we pulled it out. I was expecting another meltdown.

Defense and a lucky shot. Can't hurt. Great win.

Javale McGee had one of his strongest games of the season. It may not look like it on the scoreboard, but he played very well. His help defense was excellent. And all those offensive boards by Erden weren't really Mcgee's fault. Some were just because Boston bricked it so bad. Others were because McGee had to leave him to contest a shot.

Never gonna happen.

:nonono:

Blatche came out with a purpose in the second half. He was crashing the board, attacking the rim, and not backing down one bit against KG. Props to Blatche!

It was really nice to see John Wall penetrate. He hadn't done so in a while and it has really taken away from our offense. When Wall attacks, good things happen.

Blatche did bump Pierce, they have a right to cry about that. But the Celtics got a ton of calls all night. One of the most egregious was when they called it out on Rashard Lewis when Rondo clearly hit it last. There was also the BS timeout call when Davis and Lewis both had the ball in their possession.
