Adelman is a Moron. Putting a SF on Anderson KILLED us.. No one was getting Rebounds because we were all so damn small...

Patt would have done just fine

Chuck's was acting like Krypto-Chuck for a nice lil stretch there. As you can tell by my lack of cynicism, I missed most of the game.

Yep sure would have but that hasn't been it they just have to much size for us. Orlando is lethal enough when they're hot from the 3 point line, when you add that to the fact that Dwight howard has been playing tip drill with himsel in the paint it doesn't help any. As usual Brooks came in and f'd whatever chemistry we had going on and for some reason Jordan hill decided he's just not going to box out tonight. Ahhhhhhhhh we need more size and more talent, period.

I still can't decide whether I want this team to make the playoffs or get a good draft pick, on some nights I see so much potential and we play exceptional against good teams, then get smoked vs bad ones.

I truly wanted us to get to the playoffs but it seems we don't want it especially since the 8th spot was there for the taking multiple times.. I will be rooting for wins but if they lose ill know its one step closer to a Lottery pick which could turn the franchise around.

I go through the same thing, I want them to win when I'm watching the game but ultimately I want the lottery pick. It's games like these that remind me of just how much talent we don't have.

I guess if we want success long term we should just tank. There is no way we are winning an NBA title this year and that is the ultimate goal right? The only thing I hope for is that we keep Kmart no matter what...one of my favorite Rockets in awhile.

Brooks doesn't seem to have taken his bench role too well. It's sad because the kid is really talented and it showed last year.

He single-handed kill my fantasy team with his poor shooting this week. Feel like deja-vu OJ Mayo.

Man I fell asleep watching this game, Clyde Drexler with one of his worst performances today. He kept talking and talking and talking. I think we need a new color guy first and foremost.

Rockets Needs:
1. New Color Commentator
2. Big Black Guy
3. Starpower

I guess that's a good explanation for your 2-11 performance tonight.

Well Shane and Aaron were just awful. Can someone enlighten me to the supposed amazing defense by Battier? Wasn't he guarding Turkoglu most the game? Am I missing something?

Brooks is playing terrible too. I thought after the Atlanta game he was back in form but it looks like that's far from the truth. I really don't know what's going on but I'm a little worried. I don't see how someone can steadily improve 3 straight seasons, coming off a 20 PPG year and then have such a terrible stretch like he has. Maybe the ankle injury is still hampering him.

Btw, anyone like Terrence Williams getting some more time on the court? Guy has great handles, good vision, and has a willingness to share the basketball. Also he's very quick, strong, and athletic and would be a great defender at either the 1-2 or 3 position. This is how I would run the rotation, given our current lineup.

PG - Lowry (28) Brooks (20)
SG - Martin (24) Lee (16) Williams (8)
SF - Battier (20) Budinger (20) Martin (8)
PF - Scola (32) Patterson (12) Battier (4)
C - Hayes (24) Hill (24)

no one is gonna play consistent defense w/o a defensive big to protect the paint. you cant expect this team to be good at defense. our wing defenders are only relevant when there's someone to protect the paint. if you wanna be a good defensive team in the nba you NEED a defensive big who can rebound and guard the paint.

also shane lost a step now that he's 31 or 32. his elite defense is gone.
