Brooks is playing terrible too. I thought after the Atlanta game he was back in form but it looks like that's far from the truth. I really don't know what's going on but I'm a little worried. I don't see how someone can steadily improve 3 straight seasons, coming off a 20 PPG year and then have such a terrible stretch like he has. Maybe the ankle injury is still hampering him.
Btw, anyone like Terrence Williams getting some more time on the court? Guy has great handles, good vision, and has a willingness to share the basketball. Also he's very quick, strong, and athletic and would be a great defender at either the 1-2 or 3 position. This is how I would run the rotation, given our current lineup.
PG - Lowry (28) Brooks (20)
SG - Martin (24) Lee (16) Williams (8)
SF - Battier (20) Budinger (20) Martin (8)
PF - Scola (32) Patterson (12) Battier (4)
C - Hayes (24) Hill (24)
Keep in mind that Turk is like 6'10" , so he really is a bit different than your typical SF or SG, thus Shane having issues with him. Also, when you have Howard who gets doubled team or defensive help which leaves the Magic shooters open. That is how the Magic have been winning alot of games now. All of their players from the perimeter can shoot the 3.
I didn't expect to win this game even if it were not a b2b, but what we should've done was take care of the Grizz the night before.
