Tolliver Appreciation Thread

I know he's still struggling a bit to make an impact after coming back from his injury, but it really seems like he just brings such a positive attitude to this team both on and off the court.
I always wonder what types of discussions players have in huddles or while watching the game. I wish they mic'd somebody every single game. Anyways, I especially like the part where Tolly tells the Pups the only reason the Bobcats are in the game is second-chance points, and I like how Love backs Tolly up. With young teams like this, I think it is really important for teammates to encourage each other and to motivate each other, and Tolly seems to spend a lot of time doing that, rather than just looking bored and sleepy on the bench.
On the court, I think he'll start to come around soon and contribute in all the little ways he did at the beginning of the year.

Anyways, I just wanted to show some love for such a hardworking, likeable dude.

He's the type of guy the fan's love and the players love having on their roster. Loved his LeBron video too, he seems like a funny guy.

They should mic the entire roster up and then on the game we finally get a win against a good team they should make a documentary movie out of it and release to theaters.

Haha, yes! I would pay very good money to see that movie on the big screen, and I bet there are at least 5 or 6 people like me out there. Let's pitch it to the studios!

So many people here are quick to trade him, or think he has no future with us. No he will never be a starter in this league, but he is a solid role player good teams need.

I thought the same thing Lupus.

I "friended" AT on FB and he seems like a high character dude. We even had a little "discussion" when at the beginning of the year he hijacked a convo I was having with Stephen Litel about Beasley playing the back up 4 minutes. AT just said he used it for motivation and to keep tabs on him.

As a coach, he is the type of player you cheer for. Hustles, works, does not complain.

If he's taking rotation minutes from Love, Beasley or Darko then get rid of him.

Love Tolliver. Unique skill set in terms of an ability to alter some shots defensively, but still knock down the 3 ball on the other end. That is not your typical combination. I truely think he is the type of role player who can carve a role for himself off of any bench in the league. He is selfless and plays hard every night. From Creighton to undrafted to DLeague to bouncing around the NBA to finding a home in Minnesota (at least I hope)...hard not to respect that type of hard work and dedication.
