Oklahoma City Thunder @ New Orleans Hornets 01/24/2011

Post#1 » by slick_watts » Mon Jan 24, 2011 10:00 pm

New Orleans has won a ton of games in the row to put them back into the mix with OKC and others for a top four seed in the West. Beating these guys on the road the way they are playing will be a tall order. Points will be hard to come by.

The key matchup is obviously David West and Jeff Green. Jeff Green only received 28 minutes against the Knicks. A similar approach might be warranted against New Orleans' frontcourt if the Thunder are going to pull this one out.

Durant did a good job on West last time in the clutch, might see that again tonight

Good chance to see how we stack up vs. a solid team coming in on a hot streak.

wouldn't mind seeing westbrook in the post against paul more to try and wear him down a bit (one of the thunders higher percentage plays anyways I'm guessing)

I am enjoying David West not being in this game. I think Jeff Green's prayers have been answered.

Hornets heating up. Bench + Green scored 1 point in 4 minutes.

Why can't Harden be playing? These lineups are so dumb...

Russ wasn't that dumb, most of the passes he tried to make weren't finished. Harden playing so few minutes and Green so many is just (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Of course we can't score in the half court.

KD was being way too passive tho. He was on fire, why keep passing the ball?

You're right. He took 2 shots in the quarter and made them both. Needed to demand the ball more.

read recently that Harden thumb or fingers were swollen and from that on his shots seems to be missing a lot more. And so did his point, anything came out of it?
