before the moderators lock this up, please let the raptors fans reply to this who know how long a dread it has been with jfj as the leafs gm. For all the raptors fans who witnessned what the raptors and leafs were like during the fergueson/bobcack era THIS IS FOR YOU. the funny thing is i went to a comference for my university and a speaker there (mardi walker) opened her speech up with "yes john ferguson is still with the team, lets cross our fingers and hope something happens".

And now he is gone. LOL

He was bad but did what he had to. I don't see Toronto fans accepting rebuilding, the leafs were around 8-10 in the East so they had a mid pick usually so JFJ had no chips.

The one chip he had with the 9th pick(Couture) and he aquired Toskala and Bell.

Not JFJs fault its the toronto media.
