He plays a little out of control at times and has missed two 3-point attempts in a row. He also dominates his team and pretty much grabs the ball from his teammates sometimes.

Wiggins had no points on 0-2 shooting in the 1st quarter. He did not show anything in that quarter. Very disappointing.

I am pretty sure he had 0 points at the half on 0-4 shooting.

He also dribbled the ball out of bounds on a 1 on 1 fastbreak. I hope people's expectations for him are not too high.

I think Wiggins finished with 4 points on 1-7 shooting. 1-3 on 3 point shooting and 1-2 FT's.

The kids 15 give him a break. He played horrible that game but im sure if you watched the game before (went 5-5 from DT) or even the game against Pangos you would be drooling. hes VERY raw but very young at the same time.

I am not a scout and I was only posting what I saw.

I am not sure if you have heard but apparently Braeden Anderson wants out of his LOI to Depaul.

Good coverage by the way. I wish Pangos' team had won.

You said that Justin Edwards is the fastest rising player in 2011. How high are we talking about and do you know if he will be getting any offers to go to school in the States?

Also a quick note to add people might find interesting, Jay Triano's son played in the tournament on a team from BC.

Here is a screenshot of a huge facial from a mix thats uploading of Dyshawn Pierre and Justin Edwards from this weekend. Both guys play for Anderson and are top 15 players in the 2011 and 2012 class and should be Division 1 bound.

Mostly yea. He's going to move up when we release our new rankings. Dyshawn is great too, kinda hard to see in the mix but there was a few stretches he would bring the ball up court alone and finish. No one could stop the ball.

Stefan Jankovic has named Wake Forest as his favourite. I would love if he went to a school in the ACC.

Re: Official HS basketball thread Findlay wins a thriller!

Post#37 » by HoopsGod » Tue Jan 25, 2011 7:40 pm

In Prep news...

Findlay Prep...featuring Canadians Myck Kabongo, Anthony Bennett and Naz Long took on Bishop Gorman Saturday January 22nd and the game was a dandy...Finlay Prep takes it 89-86 in a thriller as Kabongo found Kevin Kasper alone up top and he buried the game winning three at the buzzer...
Kabongo led Findlay with 26 points!
Gorman junior Shabazz Muhammad had a game-high 33 points, including a pair of free throws with 18 seconds remaining in regulation to even the game at 71 and force overtime.

Go to school with Justin and Dyshawn, they play great together and put up really good numbers without even playing for the whole game. Justin is a PG/SG and Dyshawn plays PF but he can play SG. Both are great shooters, Justin will hit it anytime he wants, it is automatic. Justin is a year older as well, hopefully these guys rep Canada big.
