Pacers / Jazz Trade

Post#1 » by TheOneAndOnly » Wed Jan 26, 2011 12:44 am

good deal for both teams?

Hayward/Jefferson

for

Granger/Hibbert

Indiana gets their hometown boy Hayward (who Bird wanted to draft) and a proven center in Jefferson.

Utah gets an all-star to pair with DWill and a young center in Hibbert.

Jazz:
Williams
Miles
Granger
Millsap
Hibbert

Pacers:
Ford
Rush
Hayward
Hansbrough
Jefferson

(might need to tweak the deal more in favor of Indiana)

Indiana needs way more coming their way, and there is no reason for them to throw in Hibbert...

No way Indiana throws in Hibbert. Much more likely, in my opinion, would be Millsap/Miles for Granger/Hansbrough. I know everyone on this board seems to be in love with Millsap, but he'll always be undersized. I say sell while his stock is high. Granger is the dynamic scorer that this team SORELY needs. Hanbrough can fill in at PF behind Jefferson.

Bird's made it very clear he doesn't want to deal Granger, and none of the offers in this thread would come close to changing his mind.

Don't you mean there is no way they just give us Granger?
