Is there a difference when watching Blake live vs on T.V.?
I haven't been to a game yet, this year, partly due to my busy schedule...But I keep hearing from everyone that it's a much different experience watching the games, and especially Blake, live than on T.V. I suppose if you're close enough to the action, you can really get some kind of idea as to how high he gets. Any thoughts? Is it a "completely" different experience?

YES.
To witness BG live is something special. I've been to a few games and just the energy that he provides can change the course of a game. For example, I was there to see Clips vs Orlando, a game in which Orlando dominated for the first 3 quarters. But then the Clips fought back in the 4th and this happened:

The crowd went absolutely nuts. It's a feeling you can't really describe unless you're there.

My biggest problem when seeing Blake live versus on TV? I miss the big plays. I'll look down at my phone, or sneeze, and I'll miss a huge alley-oop dunk or monster dunk. You seriously can't take your eyes off the court for a second, or you'll risk missing a play and hate yourself for waiting for them to replay it on the scoreboard. On TV, you have Ralph and Mike describing the play, and you can hear the excitement in their voice when a big play or dunk is going to happen, plus you have the replays. In Staples, the only cue you get is the roar of the crowd after the play has occurred.
Other then that, the benefit of seeing him play in person is the huge effect it has had on the Clippers crowd. I've been following the Clippers for 15+ years, and been to games for the past 10, and it's never been as loud or exciting as it has been this season. Personally though, I like seeing the dunks on TV with all the replays, close-ups and angles.

You actually feel the hype. It's the same feeling that you get when you finally take that piss you've been holding all day... times 10.
but seriously, it's the whole atmosphere. How the crowd reacts and everyone in suspense whenever he's open for a dunk/has the ball in his hands, then actually witnessing his athleticism. It's awesome.
