Who's got the edge on this deal? You have to consider than Kaman is returning anytime soon.

The nice thing about Landry Fields is that he came out of nowhere to win the shooting guard spot on the Knicks and is a nice, efficient player who doesn't hurt you anywhere and rebounds the ball very well for a 2. Deandre Jordan is a shot blocking beast. The Clippers start February with an 11 game road trip that I don't see Kaman going on, possibly allowing Jordon to further cement himself as the teams starting C. If Deandre's minutes don't get hurt too much, the trade is pretty even. If Kaveman comes back and plays 25 minutes a game, it's much better for the Landry side.

TBH I think Deandre will stay in the starting five for the Clippers. Fields is nice but doesnt do much besides rebound. If you can swallow the FT%, go Deandre.

To be honest I think the Clippers will try and trade Kaman before the deadline. They have no use for him now that they have a strong young core that they are looking to build around.

I disagree that Fields offers little but rebounds. He brings 10pts, 7 boards, 2 assists and a steal per game, which is a nice all around stat line for some to fill out the roster.

That being said I think I would take the risk of Jordan retaining his minutes once Kaman returns.
